About the Author Demetra D. Logothetis, R.D.H., M.S., is the Director and Associate Professor of the Dental Hygiene Program at the University of New Mexico. She has been at UNM since 1986, and has served as Program Director since 1996. She has served on the Western Regional Clinical Exam Subcommittee. She is an editor for Dental Hygiene Contact International. She is also President of the National Sigma Phi Alpha. New Port Richey, Florida, like many cities between Jacksonville and Tampa, can thank Henry Plant's 1885 railroad for its phenomenal growth.
